WHAT IS BOSSTANK?

 

The DCCDC BOSSTANK (Back Office Support Systems), is a  program pilot  designed to help small businesses East of the Anacostia River strengthen their operations, improve financial readiness, and target traditional lending and procurement opportunities. Selected businesses will receive pro bono Business Advisory Service Experts (BASE consultants) in partnership with the National Bankers Association Foundation, through a grant from the Greater Washington Community Foundation’s Health Equity Fund for a year.

 

 

CALL FOR BUSINESSES

BOSSTANK is seeking ten (10) small businesses, five (5) in Ward 7, and five (5) in Ward 8, to participate in a one-year intensive program that provides strategic professional services to help strengthen and grow the mission of said organization.

 

ELIGIBILITY

  • Must be a for profit business

  • Business must be registered in Ward 7 or Ward 8 of Washington, DC. or business owner must reside in the Ward.

  • Business entity must be registered with DLCP, or resident must show proof of out of state registration.

  • Startups (13–36 months in operation minimum) or early-growth stage 3+ years businesses may qualify.

  • Annual gross revenue Minimum $100K - Maximum $1MM

  • Between 1–10 employees or contractors (including owner-operators).

  • Businesses from all industries are welcome.
